      I found your Fashion Meets Faith set via the lovely Fathima, and this one's my favorite shot of the series. I LOVE her outfit, and her calm and confident, steady (slightly defiant?) gaze. Seriously rocking. (I'd love to see more of her boots!)

      Looking forward to seeing what you add on to this series. Your entire photostream is beautiful! =)

      I swear to God, I keep stumbling on people's wonderful photos, and then Hashim and Yaz have already been there.... this is getting creepy... hehe.

      Wonderful shot, and I agree, Yaz smells (only because she doesn't like chai. If you renounce your chai hating ways, you will cease to smell.)

      And I smell damn GOOD, is what! I'd tell you all about the new bodywashes I bought while shopping this weekend, but maybe I'll save those conversations for Ayesha and Zana.

      Also, Costco had some ROCKING food samples this time. I pretty much covered my lunch and dinner quota of the day, while there.

      Hashim, don't get so giddy now, buddy boy. You're the numbar-von stabbee on the List of People Outside California.

      Shai, please don't hate us. We have a tendency to hijack the comments on some random tangent, wherever we go. You will learn (if you have not already) that our favorite topics of conversation are:
      -FOOD
      -chai (& how much I hate it)
      -stabbing sessions
      -cold weather
      -that one basketball player, Kahlil Gibran

      I think that pretty much covers it.

      Noshii yes, this is part of a personal collection. Most people assume that if you have faith/ practise your faith, that you aren't able to be a part of mainstream society/ fashion. These shots defy the usual hijabi stereotype whilst maintaining the personality and "hijab" of the model.
      Am hoping to add to this over time.

      I really love this photo, I agree it is a defiant look, like 'you can't touch a hair on my head' - no pun intended... love what she is wearing, just goes to show you can mix fashion and hijaab, she looks great!
