With today's glass fining technology, it seems everyone wants to get SUPER SHARP photos, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But I think we need to take a step backwards and look at where we are right now, not where we want to be, and realize that even great images require more than an element of clarity.
Form over function as they say, but with art, shouldn't it be backwards? It's not *what* you're shooting, but how you present it. If you present your work in a manner that moves people, and isn't "technically" a good photo, have you achieved won? Or are you beginning to push the boundaries of *WHAT* defines a technically good photo, and finding out *how* it moves someone?
This photo was taken from a train, on my way back up to Oregon. California, you've been fun, but it's definitely time to move on.
