Focus

Or not.

With today's glass fining technology, it seems everyone wants to get SUPER SHARP photos, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But I think we need to take a step backwards and look at where we are right now, not where we want to be, and realize that even great images require more than an element of clarity.

Form over function as they say, but with art, shouldn't it be backwards? It's not *what* you're shooting, but how you present it. If you present your work in a manner that moves people, and isn't "technically" a good photo, have you achieved won? Or are you beginning to push the boundaries of *WHAT* defines a technically good photo, and finding out *how* it moves someone?

This photo was taken from a train, on my way back up to Oregon. California, you've been fun, but it's definitely time to move on.

Packing for my last full day here out on the vineyard. I'm sure going to miss this place. I might have to make my way back here at some point.

Some building in Sacramento, when I got over there for the Unified Wine Symposium. (Awesome event, look for post number 96 on my website at www.kylekruchok.org for more information on that!)

Sunrises and fog are always a winning combination, in my book.

I like when it rains. But I like (more) right after it rains. Misty. Foggy. Moody.
