The Harvest (LCC Merchant's Guild A2)
It was a good harvest, which meant plenty of work. Thomas was assigned to the olive press, while his mother made her wine and his father cured his pork into fine charcuterie and sausages. Joseph cut the wheat, which led to claims of how he'd worked the hardest. Although every time Thomas had looked over he'd just been watching the chickens.
Eventually the harvest was preserved, packed and loaded onto the groaning goods wagon. 'Right.' said Thomas 'Off to the Lenfaldi markets then.' as he clambered on board the wagon.
'Hold up Thomas.' said his father 'You'll need a night’s sleep first. You're going to be going a little further than Lenfald. I think we will get a far better price for this lot in Garhiem . You have an uncle waiting for you there.'
