Daisies in my kitchen window

    Early morning, just after the rain. I went for a walk last night and picked the daisies from along the driveway. They are everywhere in our fields. God is a better gardener than I am.

      I love both photos as well. There's something so appealing about flowers growing where God intended them to grow, and these sunny-faced daisies are so cheerful.

      Thanks all. It is a blessing indeed to live here for many reasons.

      My three-year-old granddaughter was able to pick daisies last night as many as she wanted. After three days of being in St Louis at the zoo, botanical gardens, butterfly house and more, she was ready to pick something. She kept saying, "I can look at the flowers and smell them, but I can't pick them." I think she was reminding herself. It was nice for her to be at grandma's house where it was ok to pick flowers.

      This is such a beautiful shot and the flowers a magical spot. Reminds me of time with my aunt when I stayed with her in New Hampshire. Picking wild flowers was our nightly routine (dusk) that summer. Lovely!
