7/100 - Paul

7/100 - Paul

I was walking down Orchard Road when i saw this guy sitting alone. Being an asian, i would initially feel hesitant to approach a caucasian but seeing his charming face and friendly eyes made me think twice. And so i approached.

Paul is French who i thought is an exchange student, but he said hes here for work. I remember telling him about the project and he immediately asked if i need him to stand or do something. I jus told him to stay where he is and relax.

He was a bit softspoken so i somehow did the talking. Told him about my sister and her family staying in Montreal and how i plan going there myself. He asked if i know French and i replied only very little.

As i left, i uttered "Merci beaucoup, au revoir" and he replied with a great smile.

6/100 - Malay

6/100 - Malay

Its been almost three weeks since my last stranger and im really itching to find a prospect. Thought of scouring again Orchard Road but my feet led me to the backstreets. Saw this middle aged man sitting as if resting or waiting for someone. Then i approached.

Malay is a worker and has already been in Sg for five years. He is originally from Malaysia. He was very cheerful and was actually fun to talk to. After showing to him his first shot, i asked for another one, and this time he reached from the back of his head and showed his rat tail.

He was very fond of it so i chose this one to publish online.

5/100 - Tourist couple

5/100 - Tourist couple

It was CNY and a holiday here in Sg, so i went with my fellow hobbyist John for a photo shoot with our good friend Sultan.

At one of our locations, we were at this very beautiful back draft wall with Apache theme when this couple went near us to take a snap of themselves with the graffiti wall.

We were about to leave when suddenly i noticed that they were taking turns snapping photos of themselves without having a decent shot of them actually together. So i walked back towards them and offered to take a photo using their digital camera, and they were delighted of course.

Before i left, i took my chance and asked if i can also take their photo, the guy was a bit hesitant but the lady was cool with it. Apparently he was hesitant cus he was too shy with strangers. Got my shot nonetheless.

Hes Korean and shes Vietnamese and they came to Sg for a short vacation and to celebrate CNY.
