Colour version. It was a very dull day but I still like it.

Very nice clean shot. I actually like both versions! I love the angle that the fenceline creates. My only suggestion would be to clone out that pole in the middle to make the water completely empty.

great shot ... I like both versions too, but it is a great b/w candidate
not sure about cloning out the pole in the middle, I think it helps with perspective

      I vote colour

Both are good but the colour version is so nicely subdued that it just makes the shot that much nicer.

1:1 LOL I wasn't sure what to do too, so I left it. It(the pole) does look a lot better on print(bigish, A4)

cool angles in this compo and like both versions, for me b&w wins (just), manily for bringing out the textures and tones, neat plug-in too. Excellent

works well in both formats - I love the break on the rule of thirds for the subject too - such a crisp image like all of your shots

Brilliant shot. i love the comp and the treatment.

One nit pick from me is........ why did you have to mention this plug in?

I have a sneaky feeling my wallet is going to be somewhat lighter :-)

The B&W gives the post in the centre real character and depth - the angles and shading are great - interesting that my eye went to the lone random pole in the water so I would leave it - neat shot

Fantastic composition and I do like the B&W version, but I LOVE the color version. It's almost B&W, but just has that little bit of color to it that makes it for me.

The B&W is clearly better. Great composition!

cool how the fence looks like an arrow pointing towards the horizon and distance. i like those details in the shadows that are created and enhanced by the bw version!

Excellent black and white tones, certainly works better in mono form. As Chris said i may have wanted to remove the stick, but otherwise you've got a classy shot!
