i really really need to get off my arse and use a real camera. i've made a chunk of progress but i just. i don't know. i feel like this is a swing and a miss. it is very odd translating into stitches, the ease of strokes on a paper. we'll see, i suppose when i finish! someday!

attempting to stitch one of my drawings, drawn straight onto the fabric with pencil. i plan to use anywhere from one to six strands, to imitate the varying widths of marker lines. do not have high hopes, but i have to try!

nubar silver sword, essie matte about you, then a dotting tool with cnd shiney for the shiny bits. this nubar does NOT DRY. ever. so lots of tipwear blah blah.

so. here they are! all done up. towards the end i got both nervous and also obsessed with double chain stitch so there you go. will likely try to frame this gal, but who knows when that will happen? will try to take nicer photo with proper camera in sunlight at some point!

(badbird free pattern, dmc embroidery floss, tiny bit of blood(poked fingers), sweat (that ott light gets hot) and tears (disability is FUN!)

my phone is making me a lazy photographer. also my life is. making progress on my squirrels! i enjoyed doing those swirly yellow lines, i used a double chain stitch and it was awesome!
