NYPD Empties Zuccotti Park; OWS Protestors Removed from Campsite
Around 1:00 AM this morning, the New York City Police Department, under the orders of Mayor Michael Bloomberg and support of Brookfield Properties (the owners of the park), cleared Zuccotti Park of all the Occupy Wall Street protestors who had set up their base camp in the plaza.
