My first batch of wine is now bottled. The bottles are all different sizes and colors. I like the "recycled" approach of reusing whatever bottles I have lying around empty. And I learned a bit with the caps that cover the top which I will improve with the next batch.

Till next fall I will have to console myself with the picture. Then Cheers !

Cider is almost ready to bottle. I'm planning a batch of strawberry and blueberry each once I get some fresh fruit here in a few weeks.

A gallon of Holiday Cheer. I started it 3 months ago, hope to bottle it in a couple days and enjoy it for Thanksgiving next year.

Its actually quite clear what looks like particulate is the grain of the high ISO since I shot it handheld.

Ingredients are as follows :
2 quarts pure apple juice
1.5 cups of white raisins
3/4 oz of cloves
1/2 oz ginger root mashed
2 sticks of cinnamon
2.5 lbs of cane sugar
4 pints of water
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1/2 tsp acid blend [ supposed to be 1.5 tsp acid blend but i think i only put 1/2 in ]
1/4 tsp tannin
pectic enzyme
1 campden tablet

Combined all the above in campden tablet sterlized bucket ( 14 tablets per gallon of tap water ) and let sit from 10 pm till 8 am. Then I added a packet of wine yeast after first starting it for 15 minutes in warm water in a sterilized glass. The raisins, cloves etc were all placed loose in bucket. This leads to a lot of them floating on top. Perhaps next time I'll put them in something to keep them on bottom.

Eventually I racked it to a jug, and reracked it a time or two.

Well at least he died doing what he loved.

Everything looks so beeautfiul.

He was such a kind hearted bee, he never stung anyone.

He's in a better place now.

I've never seen him look so good.

And so on and so forth...................
