Kaieteur Falls, Guyana

    After hiking for an hour from the landing strip, we got our first view of the falls.

      We flew into the landing strip then headed north away from the falls. After about 30-40 minutes of climbing through some dense vegetation we came out at the edge of the gorge. For the picture I sort of climbed out and down a bit to get a clearer shot. From here we headed back to the falls along the edge of the gorge.
