Lake Powell, 2012. I kind of think it's "not bad," considering it was taken with a cell phone! ;) The water in the channel that morning was glass and made for a gorgeous reflection! It's actually fairly rare to see Lake Powell like this. We had woken up at the crack of dawn to take a 50+ mile boat ride down the lake to see Rainbow Bridge Arch and there were really no other boats in the channel yet. We watched the sun come up. And we got to see this marvel of nature. When we happened upon this spot in the lake, we actually were all caught off guard. It was SO stunningly beautiful, that we all just kind of stared in silence with our jaws dropped! It was an almost spiritual experience just to be in the middle of that grandeur. I didn't have my "real" camera with me and this is one of those moments I am SO grateful for my cell phone and that it happens to take decent pictures! And I'm really happy that there are awesome apps out there now that can assist in making it appear as gorgeous as it was in real life! Edited with the Picfx and Spapseed apps.
