Red Door, Blue Room

The front door of Heima Cafe here in Xiamen, China, run by a couple of musicians from Iceland... great food!

I'm deep in negotiations Chinese-style for a new old apartment. It's complex and I keep worrying. Doors opening and closing and I want them to be the right ones. Good wishes would be welcome right about now. Xie-xie, thank you in advance.

Great colours Karin, I think red is an auspicious colour for the Chinese, I think, and so they should be opening...

This is wonderful, Karin! Love the contrasts - hot Chinese red on the outside, cool Icelandic blue on the inside!

Ah...doors. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers that you choose the one with the most delightful and rewarding prize behind it. I'll start my positive vibes by putting out to the universe that it should open to a happy, peaceful, safe and friendly home for you and yours.

((((hugs))) You've been a busy lady - I have much catching up to do with you!

I love this, Karin! Warm and cool at the same time, just as good music (and good food) should be.

Beautiful door! And what a surprise to find Icelandic musicians in Xiamen! Do they speak any mandarin at all : )?

Negotiations about apartments are very very tricky, but keep your spirit up - wait if it doesn't feel like the right choice/too much resistance, and insist if you know it is exactly what you want to get. I wish you good luck. Hao Yun!
