      I'm making a big-ass granny square (well, rectangle) with sock yarn leftovers. I have no timetable to finish, but it feeds my crochet jones. And yes, I have a crochet jones.

      Because I'm thinking about this when I should be doing homework: if I made this a good afghany size for me--5'x5' (also, then I could call it my Five by Five blanket), I would end up doing 324 hexes (18x18). Does that seem completely bananapants?

      324 is a lot of hexes, but I'm sure the crochet ones go a lot faster. I'm up in the 80's right now in Komb and I'm at a lull in my hexagon love. I'll need about 150-180 total.
