"I'm a friend. Compañero."

I know I must have pushed Wings of Desire before, because I was recently reminded of it by a flickr friend who thanked me for recommending it. It isn't a flawless film, but it has many perfect moments within it and every time I've seen it I feel better about the world, about the taste of coffee, about the feel of a gust of wind on the street.
