say no more. This is a great image. I love
the soft colours in the sky and the effective
simplicity of the composition. Looks like
this is the beginning or the end of the line.
Thanks all. I like this a lot. The muted
pastel(ish) colors and minimal land/skyscape
make this a unique shot I think. Thanks for
comming by and commenting.
Great Shot! Most of the times powerlines are only in the
way of making a picture look good. In this
case, they make the picture GREAT! Score: 12/13 (From: The Judgement Day)
Sky color change and arranging the power
lines in sequence are the plus side. Yet the
framing is not feeling that balance. There
are too much sky and not enough emphasis of
the power lines. Would really like to see
more power lines to form a stronger image.
From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 4.5/7 ranking.
I love the balance of this image but there's
a really irritating bit of muck on the sky
just in from the left not quite halfway up!
(Dirt on the sensor?) Other than that it's
great, and has real "wow" factor
for me! Faved
From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 6.5/7 ranking.
Thank you all in the realm for commenting. I
tried a couple different crop combonations
initially but this is what I ultimately came
up with as I wanted a minimalist landscape
picture.
@rockstro - yes there is considerable dust on
my sensor. I thought I cleaned this photo of
it pretty good but I guess I missed a couple
spots. Thanks for faving.
@leecullivan -- I seem to have picked up a
permanent blob on my sensor which I can't get
rid of . . . It only shows up on solid areas,
so I have to clone it out. Just don't crop
this? It's marvellous as it is!

Gee, all this needs is about a million black birds and it could be a scene out of "birds".
Great picture, love the colors!

@lightstamp - interesting observation. I think it goes undergroud across the street where it's picked up above ground again.
Thanks guys!!

The great gradient of color in the skyline reminds me of Lemon Jelly's cover art.
