Holdin' On

I am holding on tight to these two. They have spent the last year picking me up when I was down and now, they continue to hold me up. I love them so and appreciate them more than they could ever know!

Last May, my mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The tumor was removed but, due to the location of the tumor, she is now paralyzed on her left side. Soon after the surgery to remove the brain tumor, she was diagnosed with bone cancer (ribs, pelvic bone and sacrum). She continues to fight and refuses to give up! She is an amazing woman.... I wish that I had a "smidgin" of her strength!!!

I hope that all of my Flickr friends and family are well... I have thought of you often and have missed you all terribly. May your 2008 bring you health and happiness! Huge hugs~
