Pregnant Onion Flower
Originally I thought this was called 'False Onion', but after some research, I discovered that it is really called 'Pregnant Onion'.
(Ornithogalum longibracteatum) Family: Liliaceae (Hyacinthaceae?)
(syn. Ornithogalum caudatum)

I agree with you mikefranklin... the leave continue to grow and grow and grow... and curl up on the ground. I see a lot of people growing them indoors in elevated pots.
