On the morning of September 12, 2010 I left Misti sleeping in the tent while I got up to explore Guadalupe River State Park. I ended up on the bank of the Gaudalupe River under this old, wise looking cypress tree. As the sun broke over the hills across the river I snapped 7 frames which I later merged into this high dynamic range photograph.
