      Simplicity at its finest....the single tree alone in the meadow with a line of trees far off on the horizon...so much white snow...it's just a wonderful shot!! Beautiful.

      BTW, re: your macro lens comment: you SHOULD save some cash and get one. Macro photography is an amazing experience and it's incredible to change the whole way you look at the world and the endless possibilities to take really neat pictures of. Suddenly something ordinary becomes extraordinary when you take a picture with a macro lens. Pretty steep learning curve, but with a passionate heart, it doesn't take long to learn how to get the image you want! Go get one. Spring is coming. There will be flower buds...blossoms...pistils...pollen...bugs, Bugs, BUGS!!! Critters, baby animals, all sorts of interesting greenery...the possibilities will boggle my mind, so they should boggle yours too! You won't regret it! Open that door to a whole new world!
