Catskill Mountains - Slide Mountain Wilderness
This is another shot from the rainbow vantage point. These were taken just below the spring on slide mountain where the trail turns to chutes and ladders before the final summit push to the Burroughs Ledge and plaque.
The lighting was dim, but I liked the way the mountains looked in the stormy haze.
300mm Got'r Done as Larry the Cable Guy would say. Only proving that wide angles are not the only lenses useful for landscapes.
Better yet, I broke 2 misconceptions in a single landscape photo in that this is also a vertical "landscape", I believe that is an oxymoron.
