On October 20, 2007....I had the wonderful pleasure and privilege of meeting my dear flickr friend....George. He is from the U.K. and traveled across the big pond to the U.S. to visit friends, meet my family and I, and do some sightseeing.
My husband, daughter, and I met George at a restaurant in Meadville, Pa. We had a nice meal together, then we traveled around to do some sightseeing. This shot was taken near Conneaut Lake. We took a few pictures there...and went to Pymatuning. There certainly were many photo opportunities there. Later in the day....we stopped at a cafe. We had a very enjoyable day together.
Months ago...I mentioned to George (because he has visited the U.S. previously) that it would be wonderful if he could visit again sometime and plan to meet and have dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when he decided to travel to the U.S. this fall. :)
I met George on flickr in December of 2006. We've known each other for
nearly a year.
George has been a very wonderful and loyal friend. I treasure my
friendship with him.
I always enjoy visiting his photostream. He is a very talented
photographer.
