coin quilt - top finished!

ocd crafting at its finest... started this afternoon around 5 and finished the top around 11pm. (it's about 40"x54")

    once i manage to get this basted (which involves crawling around on the floor which isn't so easy/fun 9 months pregnant!), i'll post another picture that shows the scale better. i realized once i was done sewing the strips that the orientation is a little weird - it's wider than it is long, and i usually like quilts to be oriented the other way. i guess it would work with the stripes going horizontally not vertically, but that seems weird too. oh well...

    thanks! now i just need to somehow find the time to finish quilting it! (if i thought quilting 9 months pregnant was hard, its nothing compared to trying to find time to do anythung with a 3 week old baby!)
