This image is a little bit different. Instead of a photo I decided to upload one of my illustrations. This was inspired by a portrait of my son. It then went to sketch form. That is when the superhero elements were added. Then I started building, texturing, lighting, and rendering the character in 3d. For those interested I use 3d studio Max, Vray, and Photoshop. Awesome Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake. This is taken right before dusk and just after a storm. I like the lighting, the colors, and this location in general.

I had these awesome looking flowers in my front yard so I used a reverse lens macro technique to get an ultra close up shot. I love all the cool textures and colors.

I love how abstract the landscape looks here. There are all sorts of interesting sights if you go out by the lake. It is quite a unique place.
