I made some Lebkuchen on the weekend, and this is the result. Not perfect, but not bad for a first try, either, and they certainly are very tasty!

I got a tea advent calendar this year - there's twenty-four little satchels of tea in it, all different kinds, all organic. It's a neat idea, so here's a picture.

Most have cute/whimsical names, too. The only one that has me slightly concerned is "liberate your liver" - just what will that actually do?

This is actually the second batch of cookies I made; the second tray just happened to come first. Taken in better lighting conditions than the earlier pictures, too. :)

In retrospect, I shouldn't have used baking paper.
