      In America Passer domesticus is an invasive pest. In parts of Europe it is an endangered species. I wish we could return all your sparrows and make both continents happier.

      Ich mag Spatzen weil sie sich überall zurechtfinden. Sie sind frech aber auch scheu wenn nötig. In der Fränkischen Schweiz gibt es übrigens einen Ort namens Leienfels, in dem seit Jahrhunderten keine Spatzen gesehen wurden. Vor einigen Jahren war ich dort und habe ebenfalls keinen gesehen.
