Waiting for <s>Godot</s> DISO
I'm working on a presentation about Mapovino, and there's a slide where I want to explain how we think (+ architecture + code) all the social networking stuffs in respect with our community model.
"In [our conception of] the best of all possible worlds" (*) DISO is really what we are waiting for...
So, my first idea has been to use an image that refer to Waiting for Godot, this famous and kind of *bizarre* play by the Irish writter Samuel Beckett.
And that's also a special wink regarding the French/English-speaking history of this play :
"Voted "the most significant English language play of the 20th century", Waiting for Godot is Beckett's translation of his own original French version, En attendant Godot (...)" (from Wikipedia).
Just something in case: we are definitly waiting for DISO, but we are not only waiting for, we try to contibute to DISO and we encourage everybody to do the same in the Open Source spirit and process!
(*) It was not premeditate, but that's now 2 litterary references in a post about DISO !
"In the best of all possible worlds" refer to a famous 'match' between the philosopers Leibniz and Voltaire in the 18th century.
