Night sky above Ayers Rock

    I did take this shot with Sigma10-20mm f3.5 on Nikon D3100. I struggled with setting some parameters to minimize noise, reducing motion blurring of stars etc..

    I presume that this level of noise is the D3100's limitation for astrophotography....
    I am going to try with D700 next time if I have a chance to go back to the place again.....hopefully.

      This are the Magellan's Clouds... Incredible!
      I've never seen them with my eyes.

      You can see those with your eyes if you come down to Australia !!
      Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park would be the best place for Astrophotography I have ever been to. You won't regret it.
