Alhambra - Spanien - Spain
Die Alhambra ist eine bedeutende Stadtburg auf einem Hügel von
Granada, Spanien, die als eines der schönsten Beispiele des Maurischen
Stils der Islamischen Kunst gilt. Innerhalb der sehr alten
Festungsmauer befindet sich die Zitadelle (die Alcazaba), die
Nasridenpaläste (Palacios Nazaries), der Palast Karls des Fünften
sowie diverse weitere Gebäude, wie eine Kirche, ein Kloster und ein
Hotel. Neben der Festungsmauer befinden sich ausgedehnte Gartenanlagen
.

Die Alhambra ist eine der meistbesuchten Touristenattraktionen
Europas. Der Alhambra genannte Baukomplex ist eine für das Mittelalter
typische Kombination aus einer befestigten Oberstadt mit einer auch
gegen diese selbst noch extra gesicherten Zitadelle für den
Machthaber. Die Anlage, die im prachtvollen islamischen Stil im 13.
und 14. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde, besteht aus mehreren um Höfe
gruppierten Palästen. Die Alhambra gehört zum Weltkulturerbe der
UNESCO (seit 1984). Die Alhambra war die letzte Bastion der Mauren in
Spanien, sie wurde 1492 an die katholischen Könige (Reyes Católicos)
Isabella und Ferdinand übergeben. Ihr Fall beendete die Reconquista in
Spanien. Der spanische König Karl V., als Karl I. Kaiser, ließ einen
großen Renaissancepalast auf der Alhambra errichten, da er plante
Granada zu seinen Regierungssitz zu machen. Der Palast wurde nie
fertig gestellt, da sich auf Grund der Entdeckung Amerikas die
Interessensschwerpunkte innerhalb Spaniens verschoben haben.

Hatte ich dir nicht erzählt, dass wir mit Freunden und 2 Wohnmobilen fahren.?Die Frau unseres Freundes ist in Spanien aufgewachsen. Kann uns also sehr gut durch das Sprachgewirr führen..

Dort bin ich auch schon gestanden und habe das gleich Bild gemacht!
Nächstes Jahr ist Andalusien wieder auf dem Plan und die Alhambra darf dann natürlich wieder nicht fehlen!
Ach ja vor lauter Alhambra ... super Perspektive (die bietet sich einem ja dort gerade zu an) und die Bildaufteilung ist perfekt!
