the trouble with bubbles: 142/365
i bought one of those plastic bubble makers with batteries and a fan on sunday.
i didn't know taking pictures of bubbles was so hard! my shots didn't come out looking very special, so i thought i'd play around with white balance hues.
this is pic-of-the-day for may 24, 2009, at ministract!

I can imagine when shooting at f/1.4 taking pictures of bubbles would be hard. :-P I'm not sure what a plastic bubble maker is though... ? I was actually trying to build something we could stamp words in a wall of bubbles... I don't think it's the same as this. :-P Anyway, all bubbles aside this is pretty and I like the greeny background backward africe looking thing. The colours are also very nice, who would have thought bubbles could be so colourful!?

it was late in the evening, the sun had gone down AND there was a breeze -- i had to open up the aperture to get anything focused. so yeah, 1.4 made it hard.
