Turbo Evoluzione at the Nürburgring

Turbo Evoluzione at the Nürburgring

Only 509 of those cars were ever made. It is one of the rarer cars from the 80s and although it didn't do as well in racing as Alfa Romeo hoped, it is an impressive piece of machinery to own as a civillian. If you don't know about cars I guess this looks quite underwhelming to you, but trust me: if you ever got to drive one in anger it would occupy a very special place in your heart for the rest of your life.

It is like that plain-looking girl you never thought much of, but which left you a broken man after 48 hours of covering the whole of kama sutra on amphetamines and tequila.

I think the one in the picture above belongs to a dutch guy and is being used as a Ring toy.

On days like these I seriously feel like putting a roll cage in my own Evoluzione, take it to the Nordschleife and just drive all day. It is such a lovely car and it is such a lovely track.

Alexander

Alexander

16 years ago I started a company with Alexander. I didn't know him. I don't think anyone really knew him back then and it took a whole week just to track him down and ask him if he was interested. Still, I knew he'd be the right guy to play a role in it. Turns out I was right.

Alex lives in Stockholm now. I am not often in Stockholm (on average: once every 20 years). We really need teleportation devices.

This is what happens when architects snort too much cocaine.

California is always somewhere between fertile and barren. It is the country that doesn't feel like it belongs to anyone. I love California.

Kristina

Kristina

I've known Kristina for 20 years and for 17 (?) of them she was this untamed natural force adrift in the world armed with just a big smile a big heart and two really big knockers. Eventually she met someone who was man enough to tame her and they now have a family in the desert. Kristina is a lovely friend.
