(21st February 2012) - Following yesterday's cold day, I woke up with a bit of headache today and just felt weary generally.

But this was no day to be ill - I was due to go to a work conference, the IRRV, in Telford. And so I decided to work from home in the morning, and use the time to get myself feeling better as well as actually packing for the stay.

As lunch time rolled up, I decided to make a batch of pancakes. I wasn't particularly craving pancakes (who does?) but felt that my photo of the day really ought to be related to pancakes. It certainly beats having another picture of Telford in my 366!

(20th February 2012) - It was pretty cold today, but no worse than it has been recently. Yes, you do need a scarf and thick coat when you're out and about, but indoors is fine.

Well, not today. The heating in the office was broken all day and so we were working in temperatures of about 8C. The single pane windows were letting a draught in and trying to work without turning into a shivering mess was proving difficult. The only way to combat the cold was to wear my coat, gloves and scarves indoors. Not really ideal.

The only reprieve we had was at lunchtime in Olive, but even this was cut short as Dan had an urgent deadline.

All in all, a day to forget.
