Burrow MOC (Lego Harry Potter)
– inside view with added kitchen table area (standard with food additions) and Weasleys –
I was equally happy and disappointed by the burrow. The original set is kind of awesome, but it lacked a bit on the playability side imo.
We doubled the house, added an additional floor, enough bedroom/beds to serve the needs of all nine Weasleys, integrated the fire place into the structure and added – constantly lacking in Lego houses in general – a bathroom. A tiny bathroom.
From bottom to top:
Ground floor: living room with kitchen corner (standard), expanded living room with integrated fireplace, sitting area (front bench can be opened and currently holds the Hogwarts letter), bathroom with shower, 'pigpen' (standard) and hen-coop outside.
First floor: twins' bedroom (standard), second bunk bed bedroom
Second floor: master bedroom (double bed, serves as bunk bed as well) with oven, balcony
Third floor: bed room (standard), additional bedroom
About 1500 pieces (stopped counting at some point).
