Here's a shot from my very short visit to Amsterdam (lasting a grand 45 minutes). I had seen some shots from this particular area and they all looked very interesting. This is where the Kezersgracht meets Leidesgracht. Usually the shots are taken from the spot directly across the canal but I didn't have much time scouting for the right spot so I just set up my tripod and started clicking as the light was fading fast.

This is again a 3-shot HDR processed with SNS-HDR and Topaz Detail.

The Koppelpoort is a medieval gate in the Dutch town Amersfoort.

Completed around 1425, the Koppelpoort is a sublime example of medieval defensive architecture. It is a combination of a land and water-gate and is part of the second city wall of Amersfoort, which was constructed between 1380 and 1450 AD.

This is a 3 shot HDR processed with SNS HDR program and tweaked with Topaz Adjust.

A photo from the archives... shot this during the vacation in India.

We were on our way to a famous temple which is in a very remote location. There were lots of villages on the route and for us, the city dwellers, it was like another world. Everything was so simple and accessible... people were so good and welcoming... the air was so fresh... we even spotted some "wild" animals roaming about... it was simply an unforgettable experience.

Yet another set of shots from the trip to Isle Of Wight.

Alum Bay is a bay near the westernmost point of the Isle of Wight, England, within sight of the Needles. Of geological interest and a tourist attraction, the bay is noted for its multi-coloured sand cliffs (22 different colors!).
