An instant before entry

    This was an experiment -- it's a scan of a poorly stored photo about 20 years old, and the original was overexposed. My attempts to restore and repair it were not working, so I tried to go the opposite direction. I think it works rather well.

      I think this image is beautiful - the stillness and the quiet of the scene, just about to be broken by the splash, plus the graceful arc of the figure...
