50*/365 :: Just married

50*/365 :: Just married

Kota Damansara, Malaysia

This shot taken right after a week of our wedding, this pair of lamp signify a very tradition mandatory for every new couple. The light up ceremony needs to be done by parents a night before the big day, which defines full blessing to their kids for having a great start of the marathon marriage journey.

After light up during the evening (before the actual wedding), it has to sustain 3D2N (if am not wrong). That's also indicates some meaning of it which i don't quite remember. Well, tradition is always tradition, we are just following the rules.

I really got fascinated by the color of it, especially the lights. It appears to be so much attractive when the rest of the lights are off. I am a lights fever, this appears to be so much gorgeous and enchanting really.

----
Both ribbon done by da-wife, the lamp can be easily light up by touching the panel, no switch needed. Little sense of touch could tune out the level of brightness.

365*/365 :: Here comes to an End of Twenty-Eleven

365*/365 :: Here comes to an End of Twenty-Eleven

Upper Boon Keng, Singapore

It is just too cruel that i haven't get the fun with 2011, and here comes the last day of the year. It is busiest year ever for me personally, and da-wife. It is the year of wedding prep work, errands and process throughout months over months. Restless year if i would have to choose a word to fit in.

A year to remember, experience and gratitude how lucky we are. A three hundred and sixty-five days gone through with always attempt to strive our work, wedding process and errands. I am speaking the distance of flying and driving back forth Singapore and Petaling Jaya. Isn't easy journey crossing two countries to get the jobs done, especially referring to 300 over kilometers away.

Just got back from work, me and da-wife will be staying at home tonight, we will not have countdown as tomorrow i will be on duty in the early morning. We will skip this year of countdown celebration, perhaps next year. All i want is that, i hope i can sleep sound and well to fulfill my last wish of the year, welcoming and embrace the year of Twenty-Twelve.

At last... i mean really at last, I know i spent my x'mas in the office and the new year of 2012, still wishing be lated x'mas to everyone and happy new year.

----
Not pressie from SK-II, da-wife bought it during TANGS sales last month and those without package in a nice box and red ribbon. These nicely craft done by da-wife this afternoon while she WhatsApp me an image a bottle's photo. Looks sweet and warmth when these miniature lined up with red ribbon. As soon as i got home and grabbed out the camera start making the a line arrangement for these cute miniature.

It is for our wedding actual day and this is part of the daily skincare to be display in the bridal room, its represent every single damn thing will be new and remain unopened. This includes a brand new set of pajamas, tops, pants, towers, slipper, and whatever you can think of resides the very bridal room.

Special thanks to wifey effort, in order to show my appreciation, here's the work i produce, her works always be remembered and appreciated at the same time.

356*/365 :: Month away from now...

356*/365 :: Month away from now...

Marina Barrage, Marina Way, Singapore

Today is the biggest festival to fellow chinese, winter solstice (冬至), I am completely forgotten this until i saw friends of mine keep posting today is the biggest day to gather around with family members. I believed it is equivalent the weight meaning as chinese new year eve reunion dinner, both served the equal means just different festival per se.

As a wanderer, people like us will always missing our most precious kins. Mine considered lucky as my hometown just a two hundred miles away. Still, only whenever i am off duty over the weekend to catch up with them. Speaking of the wedding prep work, though we ran through all the outdoor activity yet still have tons of outstanding chores, i do have a list to scan through, I just hope i have more strength to sort out as soon as I could. It just less than a month away from the actual day.

----

If we could turn back time, i wish i can have proper shots for her. If you have a pair sharp eyes, all images that i uploaded way funny than proper posture. But it was still an experience stays between our hearts, and this is our second time been here in Marina Barrage. Both events mainly for photography, never think we will revisit this place again

348*/365 :: Gorgeous

348*/365 :: Gorgeous

Marina Barrage, Marina Way, Singapore

Frankly, been through many rounds of photo shooting in my life together with da-wife, never felt she was so gorgeous during our own 2nd round PWS. To some certain extend... Indeed, the hair-doing and the make up really make a very big different on individual. I can't keep denying, she really looks perfect to me and suddenly I feel so lucky that moment, it filled me everything...

Of course, the credit always goes to the Make Up Artist, i wish i could have take more great images, unfortunately i was just one of the cast which posing most of the time waited to be captured. I can't ask somebody else to take a great picture of me via my D80. You could have say i should always call out my great assistance ever, the Manfrotto and the remote, with the limited time we have, i can't afford to have that equipped nicely and press the remote. It does takes time to set up the tripod, lens changing, focus, test shots and running around with posing ideally. That's the reason i hired professional photographer to experience my own PWS.

What I heard from da-wife, the Make Up Artist actually request the photos on wedding gown(s) before the PWS. So that she can design and plan out the hair-styling for the brides as well as the Make Up too. Quite impressive when I know this, this is creative and she hardly will use the same doing on other brides. I am looking forward on our actual wedding day for the morning and evening sessions. Da-wife will have 3 total different types of hair-doing and make up based on the gowns she chosen.

344*/365 :: Baby's Breath

344*/365 :: Baby's Breath

Courtyard Room, The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore

Our 2nd round PWS should considered as a very last minute prepared, my brain really can't fit any thing besides tons of busy work related stuffs. Lucky enough that Da-Wife had all well prepared for this shooting session, she share my personal load especially when comes to this second round of pre-wedding shoot.

One of the most important thing is that the bouquet, I rarely have time to think about what flower to match our theme this time. Da-wife had made up her own decision and had the Baby's Breath to be our PWS bouquet. Until she informed that she already made up her mind and going to make an order. She also sent me a picture through WhatsApp about how does a Baby's Breath looks like. Didn't notice that the Baby's Breath could be so classic, simple and elegant.

This is image shot on the next day when i woke up with only 5 hours rest, after final edited this it was already at 330am in the mid night, i headed to bed straight. I know I have some shots to cover some of the props so gotta wake up as early as possible. By the time i done grabbing my camera it was 10 am. Fetch up couple shots especially the bouquet, i wanted it so badly during the PWS the same day. But with the tight schedule and the sunlight fading out, i only could opt to take these shot on the next day morning.
