      This is from a slide taken in Monument Valley (Arizona) twenty years ago. I'd love to go back there too!

      ¡Gracias Marthax! ¿Sabes que usé una camara bastante barata para tomar estas fotos de Arizona y México? Me encantan los paisajes áridos porque siempre hay formaciones y colores muy interesantes. También hay muchas plantas en estas regiones que valen la pena. Aqui se ve mucho artemisia, no sé cómo se llaman en español pero es el nombre en latín. En inglés se llaman 'sagebrush'. ¡El olor aromático que emiten estas plantas después de un chubasco!

      No creo que Monument Valley haya cambiado mucho en los últimos años aunque el número de turistas haya aumentado. Es el país de los indígenas navajos.

      Hoy tengo un Canon PowerShot A95, las fotos de Gran Canaria fueron tomadas con este camera. Un día me gustaría comprar un Canon Eos o algo así. :-)

      Love this place, as my mother was born and raised in this region. Her father and mother were both from Monument Valley. My father was from the upper San Juan, Montezuma Creek or McCraken Mesa.

      Does this place still look the same? I'd hate to see it spoiled by mass tourism, or by people who have no respect for the land.

      One of the things I really remember about this region is the smell of the red earth and the plants after a rainshower.
