I am so impressed ... This is truly one of
the best I've ever seen .. and I've been photographing the Aurora for
years, but have NEVER managed to capture such
an extensive and well defined ray structure
so perfectly! I'm humbled and inspired ...
Thank You !!
Thank you Les and thank you David for your
compliments, this was one of the few big
auroras I've seen since moving to Scotland
more than 20 years ago. I will never tire of
watching the aurora's shapes, forms and
movements. I have to admit that my photographs of the
aurora are hit-and-miss affairs - but I was
pleased with getting the rays into a single
frame in this one!
I'm looking forward to the next solar maximum
in a few years . . .
- Thank you. I had my fingers crossed for the past 3
nights but it seems we'll have to wait a
little longer before seeing another display
like this over Scotland - Bring it on!
