brilliant! i love how the books are crackled too. the shadows are nice and soft, the golden sunlight is dreamy and the composition is tremendous... so much going on here - keeps the viewer lingering

Thank you, it may look simple bit this weeks contest was hard..
I figure, since the letter was written in 1773, a few years before the French Revolution, there could have been people in the Bastille for dozens of years waiting for its storming and ultimate burning down,
the prisoners were set free or chopped up, if they had a posh look about them, I've just been reading about it.. *~*
