Not a very glamorous photo I know, I just wanted to share with you
what has been going on at the neighbor's house while they've been
gone.
A swallow has recently layed her eggs underneath the neighbor's patio,
Originally there were 6 hatched. One fell to an early death before I
even noticed the nest, his remains layed on the cement till I swept it
away. These were ugly young birds, reminded me of something out of
the movie Aliens. One morning while checking on the birds I saw one
of them dangling outside of the nest by just one claw. So I had my
son's friend rescue the poor thing. It was then that I decided to
become a bird advocate....hehe, so I attached a net on the awning
underneath the nest. It did save another baby bird that feel into it.
A couple of days ago the nest was looking quite crowded with just 3
birds remaining. This morning I noticed that one of them had left the
nest. I think another will be ready tomorrow.

A beautiful capture. These birds are so swift; they're very difficult to capture on film. You've done extremely well and caught just the right moment.
