Taking a shot of the Moon wasn't in my thoughts this morning, well 2 am, but as I was getting ready for bed the brightness of the Moon in the eastern skies beamed through the blinds in my room. So I couldn't resist taking a shot or two. I took both these shots on full optical zoom at 624 mm, but the main pic I also took with 4X digital zoom giving an equivalent of 2496 mm. Personally, I still prefer the smaller 624 mm shot!
