My Father brought these framed birds home from WWII. I have no idea where they came from. He was in France and Belgium, where he met my Mom. That was between 1944 and 1946. My guess is that these date somewhere between 1935 and 1940. There are no markings on the frames. There are no markings on the backs. The really interesting thing about these birds is the bodies are real feathers. The heads, legs and ec=verything elsi is painted, the body feathers are real.

Somewhere between Eugene and Salem, OR at a rest area. I though the sky, the band of clouds and the contrasting sun and shadows made this shot.
