Gardenia volkensii subsp. spatulifolia, syn. Gardenia spatulifolia
Small, densely-branched deciduous tree.
Native to South Africa.
The flowers are perfumed, white and showy but short lived, turning
yellow when fading.
Location: Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, Brisbane, Australia
