Attack of the autumn leaves

    Newer Older

I went to my mate's to do some strobist practicing. We end up in the parking space to try that 3 lights setup and have a go with the Dave Hill effect.

The shadow cast around the leaves and hands are due to a shutter speed too slow for the movement, or not slow enough to create a movement effect...

For the autumn leaves, my mate just took some in his hand and throw them in the air then make the pose.

    Strobist info:
    - 2 bare SB-600 at the back left and right
    - 1 SB-800 thru a white brolly

Expose for the back lights first, then bring in the front one about 2 stops under exposed compare to the back ones. Then play with the shutter speed for the ambiance.
