  • yes Joe, that's the moon and It made the photo. I took a few in landscape mode (horizontal) but they were void of any subject or point of interest. So I had to go with the portrait (vertical) to include the crescent moon. Unfortunately the moon was high in the sky so I couldn't zoom in on it more.

It was a beautiful gorgeous sunset, with the crescent moon. I'm so happy the the bright colors actually showed in the picture.
