Another oldy I'm afraid.. but worth a re-edit this. my photoshop skills have improved quite a bit - looking back at some of my processing it is a big change - a change i'm very happy with.. still learning though - and there is lot's to learn..

Ok - I know I'm shifting around a bit between locations here - sorry about that.. I had to choose between two images today between a bright sunrise and this - both scenes at Richmond Park. So here we are - a very bleak image - and in complete contrast to yesterdays shot ;)

Going through my archives one place always creeps into my mind along with Richmond Park: It's the Lake District in Cumbria. So in order to feed my fire I've booked a trip to the Lakes this Easter for the weekend. I have many places I want to visit for the first time and re-visit to do a better job. Here is one place on the re-visit list, Elterwater - which is very close to Ambleside where I usually stay. Due to the amazing amount of warm weather we are getting I don't think I'll find much snow on the peaks which also means no ice on the water - which IS a good thing.. however, Easter is a long way off yet and plenty can change and in England, it usually does.. ;)

Back to autumn last year then for this one which was taken at.. yes, you guessed it, Richmond Park. Not only the shape of the tree caught my eye but the colour contrast against the sky - I've enhanced it a bit and cropped out branches from other trees either side of it.. Hope you like..
