We were leaving Te Anau in New Zealand heading past Lake Manapouri. It was overcast, cold and started to rain. The low cloud hanging in the valleys of the southern alps with threatening sky just beckoned to be photographed.
We had only been on this lake days earlier. It is a huge lake and you must traverse this for nearly 1.5hrs to head overland and then onto Doubtful Sound. Closest I will ever be to the South Pole, Antartica.

Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay. Best Eggs Benedictine there and coffee not bad either.

Had the good fortune to catch up with the Hervey Bay Photographic Club for their night shoot. Boat harbour is a lovely place to photograph, day or night.
