Amaryllis 3-flash Photo Setup
This shows how I got the photo of the Amaryllis and Schlumbergera. D200 (with popup flash for front lighting), SB800 on the right and Nissin Di866 on the table lighting the wall. I had taken down the picture and moved the chair so I had an all-white wall.

Amaryllis and Schlumbergera
Thought I'd take another shot now that all the Amaryllis flowers are out. The early ones are starting to fade, but they still look pretty good.

Wind Storm
Had some windy weather here. It left a bunch of debris on the driveway. No power outages here, but other places had some problems.

Three Feet of Snow Today
Red Amaryllis 2012
I got two Amaryllis bulbs this year. We planted them right after New Year's day. The red and white one bloomed fairly quickly but this one took another month.
The Schlumbergera is one of several in the house. This one blooms around Valentine's day every year. There's one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas.
