Store 8798, 248 Kearny Ave; one of the last Thrift Drugs in the area to open before the merger with Eckerd. Not sure if this was an independent pharmacy originally; the green tile and the green and white graphics on the windows make me think it opened as a Thrift Drug. Is now Rite Aid # 10396. UPDATE: Store has been sold to Walgreens; they already have a newer store nearby at 465 Kearny Ave, so this store may end up closing before being renamed.
