      They look friendly enough. ;-)

I have never been there without a crowd milling about. I am sooo envious!

Can you use a Clipper card in one of these babies?

; ) 7AM on the President's Day holiday. Only a maintenance worker there, everyone else was asleep.

: ) The Bridge toll is high enough, they oughtta include the use of one of these for the price.

This is absolutely beautiful!! At first sight I thought they looked melancholic. Now you say it was only 7 AM so they might be just tired...

Hey Dr. Quitti, thanks! And have a great Saturday. Bed time for me now.

Very nice! The small depth of field suits the subject of the picture perfectly

I have a thing for these old school coin operated scopes and binocs.
OT: I wonder if I could retire on the quarters people put in these 'binoculars' Maybe new fancy ones for NYC, Niagara Falls, Grand Canyon, some bridge in SF... I could be raking it in.

Hey, I left my Canon AE-1 lens cap here a couple years back. You didn't happen to find one there did you?

Do they charge toll to walk across now? Those scopes have been there since at least 1958, I can attest.

They all look their own way, appearing as individuals rather than a group. Interesting.

Excellent use of Depth of Field. They look like a row of theatrical masks -- a kind of Greek Chorus on posts.

Luckily, they don't charge to walk across yet, I wouldn't put it past them, though.

Thank you all for your comments.
