MAJOR FLickr issues still..trying to load this pic and info using crap wireless signal from who knows where LOL

Anyhow- this it the top. I'm undecided if I want to add a border or just binding. And not sure if I want to use a print or solid for border/binding. I'm thinking a shade of green if I go solid. Please share your thoughts, I am completely stumped

I LOVE nicey jane !!! Georgouse fabrics !!!! I would probably go with a solid binding as I wouldn't want anything competeing with the prints that you are already using. Maybe a green like the darker shade on the bottom right. Lovely work !!!!

Oh, this is so beautiful! I agree with a white border and think it would really showcase your wonderful blocks. Binding- how about scraps of what you used for the blocks? No matter what you use, this is so pretty!

I think a white border would be perfect, it looks gorgeous just the way it is.

I don't have a specific shade in mind..Something light, not too bright, maybe Springy. I have Kona and Moda Bella color cards just haven't sat down and looked yet.

I do have plenty left of the four prints to make a scrappy binding if I want.

I forgot to mention, for the quilting, I'm thinking of hand quilting with perle cotton inside the 5 white centers. I was thinking 2 or three rings around.

White border, solid green binding. I would piece the border to include pairs of the little triangle blocks meeting at a point that sticks out from each of the 8 side rectangles. Does that make sense?

what about kona grass green? is that tooo green?
definately something more on the pea soupy side of green....
i think something understated would be fabulous

Samilou1 (I can't pretty link using this proxy server) I was thinking something similar. I thought white border and do the 4 corners squares matching 1 to each print.

Yeah, I'm thinking something close to the green in the upper left section

Gorgeous. I agree that a white border would really set off your blocks. And your quilting plan sounds perfect.

Ooooh I love this. Either way you go this will be totally beautiful. But I do think a white border would be my preference.

So pretty! I really like this fabric line.

I agree, a white border (although, I put white borders/sashings on just about everything) - I think a soft green solid, I wouldn't want to compete with the fabrics you already have

This is all kinds of nummy! White border, with one of the florals for binding is my vote.

I'd border and bind in white although Kona celery might look pretty for the binding

This is drop dead gorgeous! I love it so much. The green you suggested (top left) is the colour I thought of before I read through all the comments.

Wow! I think the white border wins here :) I'm going to go with a simple white border and I ordered 2 separate shades of green in Kona for the binding. I'm leaning towards the chartreuse, but also bought a light olive. The chartreuse is just a little bit brighter and suits it well. Tomorrow is my sewing day, yay!
